The Eyes

Subject

Description

A large spray-painted image depicting two blue eyes surrounded by twisted blue and white vines (possibly meant to represent optic nerves). The image has been placed on a storage shed to on the side of the road. The eyes are on one side of the shed, and the vines wrap around to cover two others. The ‘left side’ of the shed is not entirely covered in the vines, and the free upper corner is instead painted with radiating yellow and orange stripes. It is unclear if the stripes are meant to act as a background for the eye image, or are left over from a previous artwork. The mural is between six and nine feet tall.
