Description
Theodore Pratt, of Delray Beach, has specialized in writing about Florida. Born in Minneapolis, he moved to Florida in 1934. Since then, out of twenty-seven books he has written, twelve have been laid entirely in his adopted state. Three of the four feature motion pictures made from Pratt's works have had a Florida setting. Today he lives in an air-conditioned house as far away from the tourist coast as he can get without falling into the Everglades.
