Description
Wild Side Story is a musical revue originally conceived in Miami Beach in 1973 as a drag parody of West Side Story. This image is one of the “Prologue” slides that would have been displayed before a performance of the show. Eddie Valdez (as José Maria González) reads an advertisement in a (fictitious) magazine for Consuelo and Obvióla, two drag performers who are characters in Wild Side Story.
