This image is of an armadillo hanging out in an area of vegetation at Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland, Polk County, Florida.

Armadillos are typically solitary animals, preferring their own company to being around other armadillos. They sleep most of the day away in burrows, going out for food early in the day and late at night. Armadillos mostly stick to a meat and plant diet, with the exception of eating insects.
