Description
This image shows an Atlantic Bluet on a plant at Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland, Polk County, Florida.
The Atlantic Blue is a type of damselfly known for its bright blue color. Often confused with dragonflies, the two insects can be distinguished by their wings: each of a damselfly's wings are roughly the same size; this is not true for the dragonfly, whose rear wings are often much smaller than its front wings.
