Dirk Laureyssens, a Belgian toy inventor, created the Happy Cubes in 1986. The puzzles are known by other names such as "Cube It!" cubes, "Wirrel Warrel" (in the Netherlands), "I.Q.ubes" and "Cococrash" (in Spain and Portugal). The mechanical puzzles can be solved in a single color, flat jigsaw-type rectangle or into a single color cube shape. The puzzles are also expandable when different colored pieces are combined into larger shapes. Not pictured: additional variations of the foam puzzles include Junior which feature icons such as food and vehicles designed for ages 3-7, and Pro and Expert which both feature marbled surfaces and are named after great minds from history.</text>

<text>IQ Puzzler Pro is a single player puzzle game consisting of 12 puzzle pieces in the form of plastic beads molded together into different shapes. The goal of each level is to fit each of the puzzle pieces together onto a 5x12 grid to create a solid rectangle or to stack them on top of each other to create a pyramid, for a 3D element. The easier levels will give the player a diagram with all of the puzzle pieces placed where they belong except for two pieces, and the player must fit them into the empty spaces. The more difficult levels will only have one or two pieces placed in the diagram and the player must decide where the rest should go. Furthermore, the game can be played as a three dimensional pyramid where the player must instead stack the puzzle pieces on the grid to form a pyramid. This game challenges the player to use spatial reasoning and critical thinking skills: the foundations of engineering thinking and design. As the puzzles increase in difficulty, the player will have the ability to familiarize themselves with the shape of each of the unique 12 puzzle pieces in the set, and progressively become capable of tackling the harder levels. The game provides players with a problem - that has one solution, criteria - all the puzzle pieces must create either a pyramid or rectangle, and constraints - the shapes of the different puzzle pieces. Children will have fun configuring the pieces on the game board while developing stronger spatial skills as they visualize possible solutions.</text>
