Originally called the Magic Cube, the Rubik’s Cube was designed in 1974 by Ernõ Rubik, a Hungarian professor, to help his students understand three-dimensional problems. The six sides have nine smaller squares on each face that can be scrambled, twisted, and matched to solve the puzzle. In this particular variant of the Rubik’s Cube, which was inspired by the original creation of Rubik but not created by him, the dimensions have been changed from 3 x 3 to 1 x 3, meaning that there are a total of 30 tiles, nine on the front and back faces, and three on the remaining four faces.</text>

Dirk Laureyssens, a Belgian toy inventor, created the Happy Cubes in 1986. The puzzles are known by other names such as "Cube It!" cubes, "Wirrel Warrel" (in the Netherlands), "I.Q.ubes" and "Cococrash" (in Spain and Portugal). The mechanical puzzles can be solved in a single color, flat jigsaw-type rectangle or into a single color cube shape. The puzzles are also expandable when different colored pieces are combined into larger shapes. Not pictured: additional variations of the foam puzzles include Junior which feature icons such as food and vehicles designed for ages 3-7, and Pro and Expert which both feature marbled surfaces and are named after great minds from history.</text>

The puzzle was created by the Australian company Moose Toys in 2018. It is a fast-paced puzzle game that features a speed mode, multiplayer mode, memory mode, and level mode. Speed mode times and scores you based on completing 10 moves. Multiplayer mode allows you to solve a puzzle and then pass to the next player, but beware, once time runs out whoever is holding the puzzle loses! Memory mode allows you to progress through the levels by solving light sequences, similar to the 1980's game Pocket Simon. Level mode is the same as memory mode except you are timed.</text>

The Amazing Star Cube is based on a mechanical puzzle invented in 1971 by Naoki Yoshimoto when he discovered that two stellated rhombic dodecahedra could be fit together into a cube. His invention was called the Yoshimoto Cube and in 1982 the puzzle was included in the Museum of Modern Art's permanent collection. When fitted together the puzzle is a 2 x 2 x 2 cube but when dissected there are two 12-point stars. This puzzle is considered a fidget puzzle because there are endless ways to fold and unfold the interconnected cubes making it a great stress reliever rather than a puzzle to be solved.

<text>IQ Puzzler Pro is a single player puzzle game consisting of 12 puzzle pieces in the form of plastic beads molded together into different shapes. The goal of each level is to fit each of the puzzle pieces together onto a 5x12 grid to create a solid rectangle or to stack them on top of each other to create a pyramid, for a 3D element. The easier levels will give the player a diagram with all of the puzzle pieces placed where they belong except for two pieces, and the player must fit them into the empty spaces. The more difficult levels will only have one or two pieces placed in the diagram and the player must decide where the rest should go. Furthermore, the game can be played as a three dimensional pyramid where the player must instead stack the puzzle pieces on the grid to form a pyramid. This game challenges the player to use spatial reasoning and critical thinking skills: the foundations of engineering thinking and design. As the puzzles increase in difficulty, the player will have the ability to familiarize themselves with the shape of each of the unique 12 puzzle pieces in the set, and progressively become capable of tackling the harder levels. The game provides players with a problem - that has one solution, criteria - all the puzzle pieces must create either a pyramid or rectangle, and constraints - the shapes of the different puzzle pieces. Children will have fun configuring the pieces on the game board while developing stronger spatial skills as they visualize possible solutions.</text>

<text>The original Rubik’s Cube is designed with six colors: red, blue, white, green, orange, and yellow and is made of plastic components. In this particular variant of the Rubik’s Cube, the nine smaller squares on each side are lenticular tiles that feature shifting colors, intended to increase the level of challenge to those hoping to complete the puzzle. A different angle reflects different colors for a second solution.</text>

In this particular variant of the Rubik’s Cube, the dimensions are changed from 3 x 3 into a 4 x 4 variant, which produces 16 tiles per side. </text>

<text>The Mirror Cube also known as Mirror Blocks is a silver reflective puzzle made out of plastic. It was originally invented in 2006 by twisty puzzle enthusiast and designer Hidetoshi Takeji and is a shape modification of the 3 x 3 Rubik's Cube. This puzzle has nearly identical internal mechanisms of the Rubik's Cube however each piece is identified by its shape rather than the standard 6 colors. This means it has the same solving theory as the Rubik's Cube. Since the World Cube Association (WCA) does not recognize the Mirror Cube as an official puzzle records are difficult to establish but the puzzle has been recorded as being solved in as little as 9.32 seconds!</text>

Originally called the Magic Cube, the Rubik’s Cube was designed in 1974 by Ernõ Rubik, a Hungarian professor, to help his students understand three-dimensional problems. The six sides have nine smaller squares on each face that can be scrambled, twisted and matched to solve the puzzle.
