Description

The Pyraminx is a tetrahedron puzzle modeled after the style of the Rubik’s Cube. The Pyraminx was created and patented by Uwe Mèffert in 1981, in the wake of the success of Ernö Rubik’s creation. The Pyraminx is a four-sided object that is a gear-based puzzle, featuring rotating segments that are meant to be scrambled and unscrambled. The original four colors were red, blue, green, and yellow. Each of the four sides has nine triangular tiles separated by segmented cuts, which is where rotation takes place.
