<text>Megaminx was invented by a couple of people independently in 1982 but was first created by Dr. Christoph Bandelow. Bandelow initially named it the Hungarian Supernova. Eventually, Uwe Meffert bought the rights to the puzzle and proceeded to sell it in his puzzle shop as Meffert's Megaminx. Meffert's Megaminx proportions are also slightly different from the Hungarian Supernova. The Megaminx is a gear operated dodecahedron with movable tiles; features 12 different sides with 11 tiles on each side, a total of 132 tiles; tile colors: white, red, blue, orange, yellow, green, pink, grey, purple, baby blue, teal, and beige.</text>
