Following the game's initial success, an animated TV series was in talks to be directed by Seth Kearsley. After the plot was rejected, evidence of the pilot was minimal with Kearsely uploading storyboard panels onto DeviantArt in 2014. The animatic of the pilot was made available after 20 years as Kearsley uploaded it to his YouTube channel in 2022. <text>Cathy was a popular comic strip created by Cathy Guisewite that had three TV specials air on CBS in the late eighties. The specials were only broadcast on their initial air dates and were never released in VHS or DVD format. One of the specials was Cathy's Valentine, a 1989 Valentine's Day-themed special that joins the titular character as she navigates celebrating the day with her boyfriend, Irving. In 2015, YouTube user Things I Found In My Basement uploaded a recording of the original special after being lost media for 26 years. Before this, the only evidence of the Cathy's Valentine special was two commercial clips, three screenshots of random scenes, and a TV Guide advertisement from the week it aired.</text>

<text>Izzy's Quest for Olympic Gold was a TV special that initially aired on TNT to promote the Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics starring the character, Izzy the Whatzit. Izzy initially debuted at the end of the Barcelona 1992 Summer Olympics and was met with reproach from the audience due to the character design. Criticism of Izzy from the 1992 Olympics led to the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games approaching producing company Film Roman to edit the character design and create the special to garner more likability for Izzy. After its initial airing on TNT in 1995, the special was aired in the Summer of 1996 on Cartoon Network as the Olympic Games were set to premiere in July. The special never aired on TV after 1996 and the only evidence found was in July 2020 when a user uploaded a three-second clip found in a CNN article promoting the special. In November 2020, the Atlanta History Center uploaded the full special to YouTube.</text>

<text>Spongebob Squarepants is a popular kid's cartoon on Nickelodeon that often uses its characters in commercial or promotional material. The Got Milk? campaign was started by Goodby Silverstein & Partners for the California Milk Processor Board as an advertising campaign with the goal of getting people to drink more milk and eat more dairy products. In February 2001 as part of the Got Milk? Ad Campaign, Spongebob and Patrick from Spongebob Squarepants were featured in a TV commercial and magazine ad. After the commercial's initial release, it was lost for almost 22 years. There was no evidence that the video existed (besides through people sharing memories of the commercial via word of mouth) until it was reuploaded on YouTube in October 2022.</text>

<text>Class of 3000 was a musical kid's cartoon created and produced by André 3000, a member of the OutKast duo. The series aired on Cartoon Network from 2006 to 2008, with some episodes exclusively premiering online. After the series was discontinued due to budget and time constraints, writer Timothy McGee filed a lawsuit against Cartoon Network, André Benjamin, and Turner Broadcasting Company, alleging that the network and show's creators had taken the idea from a pitch he had made for a similar show in 1997. Once the lawsuit was settled, full episodes of Class of 3000 became available again; however, five episodes were not uploaded and could not be found until users gradually began rediscovering them. The episode "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yeti!" initially premiered in 2008 and was lost media after the lawsuit until it was rediscovered in 2020 in an uploaded playlist on the Internet Archive. </text>
