Spongebob Squarepants is a popular kid's cartoon on Nickelodeon that often uses its characters in commercial or promotional material. The Got Milk? campaign was started by Goodby Silverstein & Partners for the California Milk Processor Board as an advertising campaign with the goal of getting people to drink more milk and eat more dairy products. In February 2001 as part of the Got Milk? Ad Campaign, Spongebob and Patrick from Spongebob Squarepants were featured in a TV commercial and magazine ad. After the commercial's initial release, it was lost for almost 22 years. There was no evidence that the video existed (besides through people sharing memories of the commercial via word of mouth) until it was reuploaded on YouTube in October 2022.
