<text>
Yuki Midorikawa (緑川ゆき) is a Japanese manga artist born in Kumamoto Prefecture in 1976. She began drawing manga as an elementary school student and first submitted work to Hana to Yume during high school. She won the 18th LaLa Manga Grand Prix Fresh Debut award in 1998 for her short story Coffee Hirari, launching a career in shōjo manga published primarily in Hakusensha's LaLa and LaLa DX.

Her two most successful works are Hotarubi no Mori e, a one-shot manga which received a film adaptation, and Natsume's Book of Friends, an ongoing work which has been adapted into many other formats. The story follows a teenage boy who inherits a book of spirit names from his grandmother and slowly learns to navigate the boundary between the human and supernatural worlds. It was adapted into a seven-season anime (2008–2024) and two theatrical films, and was nominated for the first Manga Taisho award in 2008.
