The Vintage Book Covers Digital Library includes a collection of decorative book covers for items published before 1923. A decorative cover can have rare binding types like blind or gold blocking, central motifs, or artwork deemed in other ways to be significant. Objects in this digital library were selected from items physically located in three libraries: The St. Augustine Historical Society, Marshall University Special Collections Library, and the Library of Congress.
