Questions and Answers
Q: What is a “romance novel”?
A: It is a book that has romance as the main driver of the plotline, most of the time culminating in the “HEA: Happily Ever After”.
Q: How were these books chosen?
A: Democratically! Everyone contributed their own suggestions, and there was discussion about what could stay and what had to go. This collection was the result.
Q: Can I suggest a book for the collection?
A: Naturally! We always like new ideas. Click here for our contact information (emails)!
Q: I want to curate my own collection, can you help?
A: We can try. For a price. It won’t be your firstborn.
Q: How would you recommend trying to get one of these books, especially during COVID-19?
A: Good suggestions last regardless of "current" trends! Get with the Trafalmadorians and check your local library's digital collection, order from your favorite independent bookstore, or check Amazon. A little exploring into e-books, Kindle, or that family of gadgets might also be what you're looking for (We are not sponsored by any book-peddling business or any for-profit organization for that matter).
Q: I prefer (insert genre here). Is this collection really relevant to me?
A: Of course! Part of the point of our collection is to show how wide the selection is under the “romance” umbrella. There are historical classics, young adult, historical fiction, science fiction, and fantasy-adventure all represented in this selection. Check out our list of collections!
