Montana: Chokecherry Honey Mead Wine

Dublin Core

Title

Montana: Chokecherry Honey Mead Wine

Subject

Mead

Description

The Chokecherry is a wild cherry that grows throughout Montana, used in Montana primarily for making syrups and jellies. This tradition inspired the winemaker to marry this familiar flavor with local honey, and create a true Montana wine and the winner of the winery’s first gold medal.

The chokecherry is full of antioxidants and loaded with proteins and oils which Native Americans put great value in. This makes it perfect for not only a tasty, but a healthy cherry mead.
Serve slightly chilled.
