Group 2: Houseplant Haven

About

Welcome to the Houseplant Haven! This repository has been created for LIS 5472 at Florida State University by graduate students to cater to all your gardening needs while keeping your furry friends safe. Whether you are new to gardening or pet ownership or both, we are here to ensure you can enjoy your hobby without inadvertently hurting your pet.

Our two collections feature plants that are either safe for cats and dogs, or toxic to one or both animals. Super Safe Plants is where to plants that are safe to keep near your pets, while NOPE! Plants are those that you should not grow around them. For the safe plants, descriptions include care instructions to ensure your plant is well kept, and the toxic plants detail what symptoms to watch out for if your pet has been exposed.
