Best known for his 1986 work "Her Frankenstein", Norikazu Kawashima published a string of works for the magazine Hibari Shōbo between 1983 and 1988.
By the 1990s, he left Tokyo and returned to his hometown of Shizuoka, having destroyed his manga works.
