Some of the most notable include Bigfoot, the chupacabra and the Lochness Monster. This digital library explores some of the fabled entities present in North, South, and Central American folklore. Since the existence of cryptids is based on anecdotal and overall insufficient evidence, our digital library hopes to provide information on these creatures and the history behind how they came to exist in American folklore.
