Q: Where did you get your materials?
A: We find open-source materials on the Internet and texts. If an appropriate source is not found, our contributors create digital illustrations based on eye-witness descriptions. You might notice popular depictions of well-known cryptids are not featured, though you can easily find them on the internet. They are protected under copyright and without permissions we cannot feature them in our digital library.
Q: Does your repository list every cryptid?
A: This is currently just a sampling of 25 unique cryptids found in North, Central, and South America.
Q: Do cryptids exist?
A: We will neither confirm nor deny the existence of any cryptid.
