Hong Kong Central Library
The Hong Kong Central Library is the largest library in Hong Kong. It not only functions as a public library but, the nations library as well. The libray is twelve stories high, reaching over 101,000 sq ft in height. The floor space alone is over 364,000 sq ft. The library was established in May of 2001 and houses over 2,300,000 items. The library's collection is made up of books, newspapers, periodicals, maps, music scores, audiovisual materials, electronic resources, microforms, and other print and non-print materials.
