National Library of South Africa - Cape Town Campus
The National Library of South Africa is housed between two campuses in Pretoria and Cape Town. The Cape Town campus was established in 1818 as the South African Library, and the Pretoria campus was established in 1887. Both libraries functioned as national libraries until their consolidation in 1999. Being a legal deposit entitles the national library to receive a copy of every book, serial, newspaper, or other printed item published in South Africa. This has led the library to have an extensive collection of scholarly materials. (Wikipedia)
