Description
This public mural, located at the Northside Metrorail Station 2, honors the efforts of laborers in the Miami community, namely construction workers, bricklayers, steel workers, carpenters, and others involved in developing Miami’s transit system. The mural features many small figures in groups or lines along the top and bottom of the piece, presented with generous use of green and blue tones. There are many abstract geometric shapes featured as well, linking the figures in a cityscape of moving circles, doorways, and tools.
