Description

Mural depicts large, hand-cut stenciled images of multiple women, animals, flowers, cherubs, and three runners. Images are depicted in pastel, with brown highlights and black outlines. The women are scantily clad, with the largest depicted woman bending over in the center of the piece with pink stockings, gloves, and underwear. There are three banners accompanying the runners that read, “Lady Luck”, and the artist’s tag “AIKO” is nearby. The piece was completed in collaboration with two other artists from Los Angeles and Tokyo.

AIKO is a New-York based artist who has been contributing to the Wynwood area since 2009. She is known for her skillful combination of western art movements with eastern technical artistic skills.
