Our mission:
In recognition that the state of Florida occupies a unique position as being the “weird one” in the country, our mission is to curate the unique digital ephemera of memes focused on the topic and issues of Florida, its cities, and other Floridian culture and issues to be used by patrons and scholars for future study, analysis, discussion, and enrichment. We aim to serve as an archive documenting the internet’s response to Florida’s political events; academic, industrial, and sports developments; environmental disasters, across the vastly diverse cultures and geographic settings.

This Digital Library is powered by Omeka, and uses the theme "Seasons" for the main aesthetic of the website. Six plugins are also used to help add to the user experience of the site. Those six being COinS, Contribution, Guest User, Exhibit Builder, Simple Contact Form, and Simple Pages.
