The Legend of Darkhorse County is a 2014 thriller film directed and starring Shawn Welling.
This film is about Jon and Joy Ford who moved into a small town called Darkhorse. However Joy's nieces are kidnapped due to a chain of abductions in the town. Joy and Sherriff McElroy must use any means necessary to save the town, find the kids and bring the abductor to jail.
It won awards at the WorldFest Houston, the Lagniappe Film and Music Festival, and the Gulf Coast Film & Video Festival.
However this film has never been released in theatres or home media. Nobody knows why. This trailer is the only scenes to exist of the film
