- Habitat: Prefers well drained to wet habitats such as moist woodlands and fields (sometimes flooded), and riverbanks.
- Medicinal Uses: usage includes; emetic, cathartic, dyspepsia treatment, chronic rheumatism, and ringworm
- Medicinal Preparation: eaten as a vegetable, or put in salads
- Contraindications: Symptoms of misuse are extreme stomach upset and depressed breathing.
