Search Tips & Tricks
Use this guide to navigate the fog and find exactly what you’re looking for across the 2021–2025 event history.
1. Understanding Event Types
If you are looking for a specific type of experience, use these primary categories:
- haunted house: Indoor walk-through attractions.
- scare zone: Themed outdoor areas located in the streets.
- fire show: Live performances and lagoon shows.
2. Searching by Theme Origin
We categorize our attractions by where the story came from:

- movie: Based on major motion pictures (e.g., Beetlejuice, Halloween).
- show: Based on television or streaming (e.g., Stranger Things).
- video game: Based on gaming properties (e.g., The Last of Us).
3. Navigating with Maps
To see the layout of the park for a specific year, use these terms:
map or park map: This pulls up official maps showing house locations and scare zones.
4. The "No Space" Rule for Years
To bypass search limits, always type years as one word:
Use: HHN30, HHN31, HHN32, HHN33, or HHN34
*Note: Searching "HHN 32" with a space may return no results.
5. Popular Character & Icon Tags
- Icons: jack the clown, nightmare queen, boris shuster.
- Creatures: monsters, ghosts, vampires, clowns.
- Concepts: folklore, dystopia, carnival, zodiac.
