Description

Greyfriar's Kirkyard in Edinburgh is near several of the coffeeshops that J.K. Rowling frequented as she wrote the Harry Potter book series. Several of the tombstones within the kirkyard feature similar names to characters in the books, such as Riddell and McGonagall, leading fans to believe Rowling gathered inspiration from the location.
