Title

New Jersey Devil

Description

The New Jersey Devil comes from New Jersey folklore and is said to be a wyvern-like creature with the head of a horse or goat, bat-like wings, and stands on two hooved feet. According to legend, a horrific curse brought the New Jersey Devil to life in the Pine Barren regions of New Jersey. A woman known as Mother Leeds gave birth to twelve healthy children, but the thirteenth was cursed. Once the birth was complete, the New Jersey Devil flew around the room and escaped.
